Lucie Robin

Bio

Lucie Robin is an independent chef, graduated in 2019 from the Ferrandi Bachelor's degree. Her career has led her to work in establishments with a variety of styles — from Michelin-starred cuisine to neighborhood bistros — offering her a rich range of technical and organizational approaches.

In 2023, she became a vegetarian, a personal choice that led her to deeply rethink her culinary practice. Wishing to align her values with her cuisine, she decided to start her own business and founded her business as a home chef and caterer, entirely focused on vegetarian cuisine.

Its objective: to offer tasty, committed and creative cuisine, which values seasonal products, short circuits and sustainable actions, without ever sacrificing pleasure or generosity. Through her plates, she seeks to change the way we look at vegetarian cuisine and awaken the taste buds to new ways of eating.

Residency project

During the culinary residency at Villa Rocabella, Lucie Robin wanted to deepen her approach around vegetarian cuisine that is at once creative, responsible and comforting.

After several years in traditional catering, then a turn towards a practice more in line with her ecological and ethical beliefs, Lucie sees this residence as a break for research and freedom. She wants to explore new ways of promoting vegetables, by working on original flavor combinations, gentle and respectful cooking techniques, and actions that save resources.

She will pay particular attention to local and seasonal sourcing, as well as to how to transmit her choices and commitments through her plates, without dogmatism but with conviction and sensitivity.

Lucie also wants to experiment with new meal formats, halfway between the generous vegetable bistro and the intuitive gastronomic experience, to rethink what committed, warm and accessible cuisine can be.

This residency will be an opportunity for her to exchange with other chefs, to open up to new inspirations and to lay the foundations for a more successful and future-oriented culinary offer, in harmony with her territory and contemporary challenges.
