Sara Vuolle
Bio
Born in Finland, Sara Vuolle spent part of her childhood in the south of France, an experience that aroused in her a profound curiosity about languages, cultures and different ways of seeing the world. This quest for discovery and understanding continues to drive his artistic and cinematographic work.
She moved to Paris to study cinema, before pursuing a Master in documentary cinema in Rennes. During this training, she held the position of director of photography On the movie Three Blue Birds. Since then, she has collaborated on numerous projects ascamera assistant, editor assistant and technician for live concert recordings, exploring various aspects of the cinematographic process.
Through his work, Sara Vuolle seeks to understand and share human experiences, using cinema as a tool for exploration and transmission.
Residency project
Passionate about cinematography, Sara Vuolle finds in the image a way to capture the world and invite the viewer on a sensory journey. Her approach is based on exploring the depths of reality, playing with light, movements and textures to reveal the richness of the world around us.
As part of the residency on the sustainable tourism, she wants to put her cinematographic perspective at the service of a visual reflection on our relationship with the environment and the landscapes we cross. How to capture the essence of a territory without altering it? How do you tell a story where the image becomes a journey in itself?
Sara aims to seize this collective immersion by working alongside other residents. She sees this experience as an opportunity to Develop your narration, to experiment with new ways of filming reality and to create a visual dialogue between different artistic sensitivities.
Building on her Nordic heritage, she also wants provide a visual approach inspired by the contrasts of light and refined atmospheres specific to Scandinavian landscapes, to enrich the collective vision of the documentary project. This residency will be for her a space for learning, collaboration and artistic exploration, where each frame will become a fragment of a story, inviting us to rethink how we observe and preserve the world.
