Mila Scorcelli
Bio
Mila Scorcelli is an actress, costume designer and director, trained in Brazil and based in France since 2019. Her eclectic career has led her to collaborate in numerous fields of theater and opera, occupying roles as varied as director, artistic assistant, teacher or speaker.
She regularly participates in professional body preparation workshops for singers, and also develops theater initiation programs for young audiences.
At the heart of his artistic approach: the body as a creative tool. Her stage work explores body awareness and gesture as language, seeking to connect stage presence, movement and narration. She conceives the scene as a space for experimentation where expression is born above all from feeling and physical listening, in a search for authenticity and accuracy of movement.
Residency project
During the philosophy residency at La Rocabella, Mila Scorcelli will accompany the residents in a corporal exploration of thought. Thanks to her expertise in stage acting, body preparation and staging, she will offer workshops designed to free speech, assert her presence and embody her ideas in front of an audience.
Its objective: to allow everyone to give life to their thoughts, by developing an anchored, expressive and authentic physical presence. Through exercises inspired by theater and body awareness, it will help participants to breathe better, to express their voice, to inhabit the space... and to transform their discourse into a real living performance.
These working hours will offer them the tools they need to carry out their ideas with clarity, impact and sensitivity, whether in an educational, media or artistic context. For Mila, to think is also to make the body resonate — and the scene then becomes the natural extension of thought.
