Clara Yvard

Clara Yvard is the art director of the successful documentary series “From Roubaix to Detroit”, broadcast on France Télévisions. This series draws the crossed portraits of eight activist artists committed to the revitalization of priority neighborhoods in Roubaix and Detroit. Winner of the “Draft of a Dream” and “Emergences” programs, as well as Pictanovo's writing and development grants, Clara was able to captivate her audience with this innovative project.

Clara will produce the making of the residency to write and shoot the documentary film about whales by following the participants throughout the process. It will capture key moments from the residency, from writing sessions to outdoor filming, highlighting the challenges and successes of the artists. Thanks to her expertise in documentary filmmaking, Clara will give life behind the scenes of this ecological and artistic project, highlighting the commitment of authors and directors to the protection of whales in the Mediterranean. The making of will be a complementary work to the residency, enriching the experience for the public.
